Executive Assistant

Salary: £23,000 – £26,000 pro rata
Dependant on experience

Hours: 37 Hours per week

Citizens Advice Ipswich has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to become part of a dedicated team, providing help and support to the people of Ipswich. The role is to become a personal assistant (PA) to the Chief Executive, Trustee Board, and Senior Management team of the Charity.

This is a demanding and rewarding role working in a busy, agile, forward-thinking environment. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and together with well-developed PA skills. You must be highly organised, have good attention to detail, and be able to work flexibly to meet deadlines. This role requires an individual who can quickly acquire a good understanding of the voluntary, community, and social enterprise agendas and apply this knowledge to deal efficiently and professionally with a wide range of business issues.

You will have proven experience of providing secretarial or administrative support at a senior level and be educated to degree (or equivalent qualification) or evidence of an equivalent level of knowledge and experience.

Vacancy ~ Financial Officer

Financial Officer

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 pro rata
Dependent on experience

Hours: 15 Hours per week

Citizens Advice Ipswich is seeking an experienced finance officer to support the strategic financial management of the Charity, this role with be working in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The role will include ensuring all transactions are posted correctly on QuickBooks and producing analysis, reports, and commentary on all finance activities for the CEO and the Board.

The ideal candidate will have extensive accountancy experience and an understanding of Charity accounting.

To ensure the provision of accurate effective and efficient financial information for the Chief Executive, Trustees, National Citizens Advice, and Funders when appropriate also undertake Payroll activities for the business.

The successful candidate will have recent and ongoing experience in Excel spreadsheets, Quick Books, and Payroll Manager.

This is a permanent position, subject to the satisfactory completion of probation.
