Ipswich Citizens Advice is looking for a well organised Energy Project Adviser to join our rapidly expanding Money Advice Services Team.

The post holder will carry out (predominantly) telephone based energy assessments and provide advice to clients who are referred to us by our partner organisation. This work may include tasks such as identifying grants, arranging specialist appointments, helping them to switch supplier or tariffs.

A clear and confident telephone manner is essential for this role and, although not essential, it would be preferable for the post holder to have some knowledge or experience in the areas of either energy, money, debt, welfare, advice, law, housing, or benefits.

The post holder will also receive recognised training, support and supervision to enable them to provide more in-depth casework and advice to our clients as the project demands.
