Technical Debt Team Supervisor (Money Advice Team)
Salary: Negotiable – dependent upon relevant skills and experience
Hours: 37 hours a week (full-time)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Citizens Advice Ipswich as the Technical Debt Team Supervisor for the Money Advice Team, at 19 Tower Street, Ipswich. This role will supervise, coach, and develop the money advice team including performance, workflow management, and quality of advice offered to clients. The role will also include direct casework, requiring current relevant debt management/advice experience.
To be successful in this role you will be a competent, experienced money advice/debt team supervisor, able to support and coach team members to perform within a quality-based advice framework. You will have a sound understanding of debt management options (including bankruptcy, insolvency, Debt Relief Orders), be able to manage your own casework, and maintain the relevant CPD/technical supervisory standards required. You will be able to work within a pressured environment with excellent client-facing skills, presenting, and conducting yourself in a professional and courteous manner. You will have the ability to support and drive continuous improvement initiatives to develop money advice team processes. You will be able to interpret and report on client volumes and insights to support the organisations Social Policy and campaigning activities. You will have a professional and supportive demeanour and be able to work as part of a diverse team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ipswich & District Citizens Advice Tower Street office for a Training Supervisor. The role is to provide a recruitment service for volunteers and paid staff and to support them through their learning journey within the organisation. This includes conducting inductions for new staff, organising training events and maintaining comprehensive records for all staff.
You will be confident with recent experience in organising training events and supporting learners. You will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and feel comfortable communicating with a diverse team. You will have the ability to motivate individuals and provide constructive feedback in order to improve performance. You will have the experience to coach and mentor trainees to meet their full potential. You will have excellent organisation skills and be able to prioritise your own work to meet the needs of the organisation.

Citizens Advice Ipswich is looking for a dynamic individual with recent experience of Advice Session Supervision. The post holder will need to be trained to Citizens Advice generalist adviser level and will assist in the running of our Generalist Advice Office, including case checking and the supervision of our volunteer assessors and advisers. The post will require the effective and efficient management of the generalist advice service to clients in accordance with the Citizens Advice Membership and Standards Agreement. They will provide technical, practical and motivational support to the advice and reception team and therefore need to be committed to the CAB values and aims, well organised, confident and enjoy working in a busy team environment.
The post holder will also be expected to cover out-reach sessions delivered in various locations across the Ipswich District.
