Social Prescribing Team Manager

Contract:                 Permanent

Starting Salary:           £25,000 p.a. (subject to review on satisfactory completion of probation period)

Hours:                       37 hours

We are a dynamic and busy, town centre based advice centre, serving a diverse urban and rural community.  We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Social Prescribing Team Manager to become an essential part of this dedicated team, providing help and support to the people of Ipswich. 

This is a demanding but rewarding role working in an extremely busy, agile, forward thinking environment.  You must have excellent interpersonal skills together with previous Team Management and Performance Management experience.  You must be highly organised, have good attention to detail and be able to work flexibly to meet deadlines including the use of data to interpret and manage service delivery.  This role requires an individual who can quickly acquire a good understanding of the voluntary, community and social enterprise agendas and apply this knowledge to deal efficiently and professionally with a wide range of business issues.

You will have proven record of providing team management, with performance or project / contract delivery experience at a senior level and be educated to degree, or evidence of an equivalent, level of knowledge and experience.
