We ask clients to acknowledge that we are a local charity and our General Advice Service is almost entirely run by volunteers; clients will be seen on a first come first served basis.
Please note, we are busiest on Monday and Tuesday mornings.
1. A level 1 assessment to work out with you your best next step(s). This brief assessment (lasting between 10 – 30 minutes) is to work out if you need an appointment to look at your issue in more depth or if we can give you the help that you need straight away. The assessment can be done in person (using the drop-in service) or on the telephone using the AdviceLine number below.
2. Following the level 1 assessment, where an in-depth advice session is needed, a level 2 appointment with an adviser or specialist adviser will be made.
