Michael from our Money Advice Team submitted a claim for Council Tax Reduction on behalf of a client after identifying a likely entitlement. The Council have come back with an adjusted bill giving a refund to the client of £833.98.
The client – an older person with a number of debts sent Michael this email:
“Hi – thought you might like to see this letter from the Council. I’m astounded (was going to say “gobsmacked” but guess that’s not very senior ladylike!!!!)
