Generalist Advisers

Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week) – part time considered
Location: Ipswich – Office based
Salary: £ 24,454

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised people to strengthen our Generalist Core Advice Team.

The generalist adviser role directly supports the local community in our Tower Street Offices. Demands on Citizens Advice services have increased requiring the increased capacity to work alongside our volunteer workforce.

You will train to provide generalist advice via face-to-face drop-in sessions at Tower Street, via the telephone, e-mail, or other media streams. Provide the most appropriate advice, help, and support to clients, including, arranging specialist appointments where appropriate.

We are looking for somebody who is self-motivated, proactive, highly organised, and with strong attention to detail. We record details on our Case Management System, so you will need to be able to work to a high level of accuracy when recording information and following procedures. We work closely together on cases, so the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

We would consider someone with the appropriate skills and ability aspiring to be an Adviser as a trainee

Data Analyst

Do you have a passion for evidencing impact through data?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised data analyst to manage and support the collection, investigation and reporting of project data.

This new role will be central to demonstrating the impact and outcomes of the support of Citizens Advice Ipswich and the wider VCFSE through the collection and integration of project data.

The wealth of complex data gathered whilst supporting people needs to be converted into easily understood quality reports. To be successful in this new role, you will be personable, confident, self-driven and self-motivated – ideally with recent relevant experience within an analytical, data management or management information-oriented role.  You will be confident using a range of IT systems for case or data management purposes, have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver meaningful comprehensive reports to a range of stakeholders.

You will be able to manage client data with attention to detail, possess excellent IT skills and be able to work in a timely manner with meticulous detail.
