New website for Citizens Advice Ipswich improves access to advice and information

Citizens Advice Ipswich launches its new website this week specifically designed to make it easier for clients to find the help they need. New features include one click access to online advice, all pages can be translated into community languages and the outreach advice options are clearly marked.

Nicky Willshere, Chief Executive Officer said: “Citizens Advice Ipswich is the go-to place for Ipswich residents needing advice and information to help them navigate their lives. And, as times continue to be hard for people and we have never been needed more, it is vital that our clients know the full range of ways they can get our help.

“Our newly designed website will make that journey so much easier with clear paths to online advice, in a range of community languages, easy to follow ways to ask for advice by email, phone or face to face, either at Tower House or out in the community. The new website has clear information about our outreach advice options and all the information needed for people to get help, offer to volunteer, see our vacancies and find out about new initiatives.”

Features of the new website include

  • translation options across 14 community languages
  • one-click access to online advice
  • outreach advice dates and venues
  • email advice request forms
  • telephone advice numbers
  • volunteering and job vacancies
  • downloadable guides
