Generalist Advice

Generalist Advice Team

Michael John
Advice & Quality Supervisor

Our General Advice Service is almost entirely supported by volunteers.
We take great pride in the quality of our advice training, with all our team
members equipped with the expertise and passion to guide you towards
your options and to support you in finding the advice that you need.

Our advice service is completely free, and we can assist with a wide range of issues.

As well as helping clients in person at our office in Tower Street, over the phone via our freephone Ipswich Adviceline and online through our contact form, our partnership with Yorkshire Building Society provides a Citizens Advice outreach service in the Ipswich branch every Wednesday – you don’t need to be a YBS customer to book in to see us, speak to a member in-branch to arrange an appointment.

We’ve recently been chosen as a Glasspool Charity Trust agent for Suffolk, enabling our advisers to access an important source of charitable grants for our clients.
